Hi everyone, here's some photos of a recent project That I was quite happy with the design of (the execution of the button sticth is a bit messy but I liked the design I chose).
(also I've put up instructins for making a bound cd wallet at my website, just click the craft projects link at jen.f1-comics.com)

Re: a button hole journal
Tue, November 4, 2003 - 8:30 PMThis is very neat, I love the spine treatment! It's the first time I see the terms "button hole journal" or "button stitch" though, what are they? -

Re: a button hole journal
Mon, February 7, 2005 - 12:50 AMJust recently stumbled upon this thread, and I'm so glad I did. I followed the instructions on Jen's site and managed to come up with a couple of buttonhole journals.
I've been bookmaking a lot for the past week (4 coptics, 2 buttonholes). I'm a newbie still, and still looking for more info on how to make other kinds of bindings.
Jen, thanks for posting the instructions. =)

your button journal is lovely. i got stuck on coptics (which i love to do) and haven't branched out since. between the button hole and emmajane's 'bird toes' i feel inspired anew!
thanks for sharing your work with us. this is a fun and fantastic forum and though i don't have much to share these days (a creative block of sorts) i like to see what the rest of you are up to.
