I wandered over here from nervousness, its Faegirl.

I made a sad looking book last night :) I got the stitch wrong and its all wobbly. But still functional. So I'm going to just use it for random stuff. Going to try again tonight.

Welcome! believe me my first few attempt were so wobbly, keep practicing! there's a few tips for keeping things tight in some of the other threads, show us some pictures if you have any.

I'm going to take a few pictures tonight and hopefully make another one with better paper. I think I know what I did wrong the other night :)

Isn't it great, though, you can make these imperfect books, but they're still *books*, and you can use them without fear, cuz you can just make another one. That was the coolest revelation when I started binding.

It's great to make imperfect books! They're the only ones I ever actually use! I'm too scared to write in the others in case I spoil them! That's one reason why I'm doing a craft fair - to get rid of the mnay books that I can't stop making but may never use!

Reed & leslie, you are so right! I get scared to use the pretty ones and end up giving them away in the vain hope someone else will!

I know! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to turn the pages, but its fine other than the spine being weak.
      I love it :)
